Keeping the community at its core, the initiative has adopted a ridge-to-valley approach, treating over 2.6 lakh ha of land, resulting in augmented water availability, enhanced cropping intensity, and improved livelihoods, thereby fostering climate resilience in communities.

11th Earth Care Awards recognise Mr. Nikky Kumar Jha under the category Young Change Maker for the innovation titled ‘Sabjikothi- An Affordable Storage for Small-Marginal Farmers and Street Vendors’.  Mr. Jha has developed an IoT enabled storage device designed to extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables, addressing the challenges of food loss and associated GHG emissions. The solution offers a resource-efficient, controlled microclimate system within a near-sterile insulated chamber, that creates optimal conditions for storage, resulting in a substantial improvement in the livelihoods of beneficiaries and ultimately food security.
